Job Title: Care Management Supervisor

Location: Chipley, FL

Full time/Part time: Full-time

Compensation: $42,700

Description: The Care Management Supervisor’s role is to continually work with and through agency staff for the particular purpose of serving, protecting, and strengthening children, families, and communities. This is advanced professional work supervising and directing the work of Care Managers and support staff. The primary duty is to ensure the quality and efficiency of services to children and families served through assessing, coaching, consulting, training and correcting the work of assigned staff while maintaining a part-time case load. Direct services to children and families include those consistent with Care Managers as necessary. The Care Management Supervisor is directly responsible to the Program Administrator and supervises Care Managers, Family Associates and / or Clerk Typists to provide support to families in a service team approach to case coordination.

Requirements: Must attain Child Welfare Case Manager certification. (Note: Applicants who have not completed the training and passed the Written Assessment will be considered for appointment in the Agency under trainee status. Successful completion of the field-based performance assessment is required during the probationary period.) Must also complete DCF required training for Child Protection Supervisors within standard timeframes. A valid driver’s license, dependable vehicle and appropriate insurance coverage are required to perform assigned duties: to make on-site home visits to assess client risk; and to attend meetings, conferences, and training or to conduct other official business in this description.

Education and Experience: Masters degree in social work, counseling, psychology, criminal justice, nursing, rehabilitation, special education, health education, or related human services field with two years direct experience working with children and families, or Bachelors degree from accredited college and four years direct experience with children and families.

Position: Family Counselor

Program: Anchorage Family Counseling

Location: Panama City, Florida

Description: The focus of this position is to provide individual, family and group counseling to adolescents age 6 to 17 years, and their families. Client contact will be established in a variety of settings including, but not limited to, the home, school, and office.

Education/Experience: Bachelor degree in counseling or social work or related fields, plus relevant experience or a Master and experience in related fields. Degree must be from accredited institutions.

Position: Part-time House Parent

Program: Sibling Group Home

Location: Panama City Beach, FL

Description: Provide direct support and guidance to children in sibling groups between the ages of 6 – 12 years of age in an 8 bed group home setting. This position requires some flexibility in schedules and may work up to 30 hours per week.

Education/Experience: High School diploma or GED required with a year’s experience working adolescents and/or children. Must have a valid Florida Driver’s License and a clean driving record.

Position: Resident Advisor

Program: The Bridge: Transitional Living

Location: Panama City Beach

Salary: $10.50 per hour

Description: Seeking caring, flexible mentors for youth ages 16-21 who reside in a transitional living clustered apartment setting. Position provides supervision, recreation, basic life skills training and transportation for youth. Shifts include week day hours, weekend hours and requires flexibility.

Education/Experience: Position Requires a High School Diploma or GED , 2 years experience working with youth and valid Florida Driver’s License.

Position: Care Manager

Program: Care Management

Location: Marianna, Florida

Description: This is a professional position serving, protecting, and strengthening children and their families who are at risk or have actually experienced abuse, neglect, and/or abandonment. This position works with children and families to conduct assessments, develop appropriate case plans, referrals to specific services, collect and submit documentation necessary for court work, monitor progress toward permanency and identified goals, as well as other duties necessary to ensure the safety and well being of children receiving services. Annual salary $33,000.00

Education/Experience: A Bachelors degree from an accredited college in social work, counseling, psychology, criminal justice, or related human services field is required. Two (2) years direct experience working with children and families preferred. An unrelated Bachelors degree with three (3) years experience working with children and families will be considered.

A passing score on basic skills Introduction to Child Protection Written Assessment must be attained.

Position: Youth Specialist, Part-Time

Program: Hidle House

Location: Panama City, Florida

Description: The focus of these positions is to provide motivation, leadership, structure, and day-to-day supervision and development to the adolescent youth in shelter. The Youth Specialist supervises resident youth in a 24-hour awake program and works closely with the Residential Counselors, who are responsible for clinical services provided in the shelter. Candidates hired must be able to work shifts.

Education/Experience: High School Diploma or GED required. Prefer applicants to have a year’s experience working with adolescents or children.
