Position: Administrative Assistant

Program: Administration

Location: 2121 Lisenby Avenue, Panama City, FL 32405

Description: Provide high-level support to the Executive Director and other management team members. Tasks include greeting and assisting visitors, managing phone calls and correspondence, attending and recording meeting minutes, filing documents and performing other customary office tasks.

Education/Experience: High School Diploma or GED required. Applicants must have at least two years clerical/administrative experience and possess excellent communications/customer service skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is a must.

Position: Family Counselor

Program: Anchorage Family Counseling

Location: Panama City, Florida

Description: The focus of this position is to provide individual, family and group counseling to adolescents age 6 to 17 years, and their families. Client contact will be established in a variety of settings including, but not limited to, the home, school, office and residential youth shelter.

Education/Experience: Bachelor degree in counseling, psychology, social work or related fields, plus relevant experience or a Master degree and experience in related fields. Valid Florida driver license required.

Position: Family Associate - Transporter

Location: Marianna, FL

Compensation: $11.20 per hour

Job Type: Full time, benefits eligible

Description: Transporting children and their families who are involved with protective supervision due to allegations of abuse and neglect, providing safe and supportive supervision of children during transportation, assisting clients with basic skills related to childcare, personal hygiene, health and parenting. Requires some evenings and weekends.

Education/Experience: High school diploma or GED and two (2) years working with children. Must have a valid Florida driver’s license, a clean driving record for the past 3 years and reliable transportation. Selected candidate will be subject to a level 2 background check. 

 


 

Position: Youth Specialists

Program: Hidle House

Location: 2121 Lisenby Ave. Panama City, FL 32405

Compensation: $11.20 per hour, benefits eligible

Description: The focus of these positions is to provide motivation, leadership, structure, and day-to-day supervision and development to the adolescent youth in shelter. The Youth Specialist supervises resident youth in a 24-hour awake program and works closely with the Residential Counselors, who are responsible for clinical services provided in the shelter. Candidates hired must be able to work shifts. Successful applicants must be 18 years of age or older and possess a valid driver license with a clean driving record.
Education/Experience: High School Diploma or GED required with a year’s experience working with adolescents or children; must have valid driver license.

Position: Resident Advisor

Program: The Bridge: Transitional Living

Location: Panama City Beach

Salary: $11.20 per hour

Description: Seeking caring, flexible mentors for youth ages 16-21 who reside in a transitional living clustered apartment setting. Position provides supervision, recreation, basic life skills training and transportation for youth. Shifts include week day hours, weekend hours and requires flexibility. This is a full time position with benefits.

Education/Experience: Position Requires a High School Diploma or GED, 2 years experience working with youth and valid Florida Driver’s License with a clean driving record. Successful candidates must be able to pass a background screening and drug test.

Position: Part-time House Parent

Program: Sibling Group Home

Location: Panama City Beach, FL

Description: Provide direct support and guidance to children in sibling groups between the ages of 6 – 12 years of age in an 8 bed group home setting. This position requires some flexibility in schedules and may work up to 30 hours per week.

Education/Experience: High School diploma or GED required with a year’s experience working adolescents and/or children. Must have a valid Florida Driver’s License and a clean driving record.
