Street Outreach & Recovery Program (SOAR) is a mobile unit of specialists who connect homeless youth under 21 years of age to valuable resources in the community to get them off the street and in safe housing. SOAR provides survival aid, food, water, blankets, hygiene products while developing a relationship to help youth get connected to permanent housing or another Anchorage residential program. Homeless youth also have access to SOAR’s Drop In Center for hot meals, laundry facilities, computer access, hygiene services and other community resources.
